JOHN F. HAARDE, II, O.D.

John F. Haarde, II, O.D. received his Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. He then attended The University of Houston College of Optometry and completed his Therapeutics and Glaucoma studies.

Dr. Haarde is board certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry and licensed to practice Therapeutic Optometry in the state of Texas. He is also certified as an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association and the Dallas County Optometric Association.

Dr. Haarde specializes in preoperative and postoperative management of cataract and refractive surgery patients, including LASIK. He fits hard and soft contact lenses, toric lenses for the correction of astigmatism, and multifocal lenses.

He resides in Dallas with his wife, Rachel, who is a registered nurse at Children's Medical Center of Dallas.
