KAREN B. SALAND, M.D.

Karen B. Saland, M.D. attended Harvard University and Texas A&M University. She completed her medical training at the university of Texas-Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. After completing her internship at The University of Texas-Southwestern Medical School, Dr. Saland completed her ophthalmology residency program at Maryland General Hospital/Jonas Friedenwald Eye Institute in Baltimore, Maryland. She is married and the mother of three children.

Dr. Saland specializes in comprehensive eye exams for the entire family. She fits soft and hard contact lenses including toric lenses for correction of astigmatism. She treats all diseases of the eye including glaucoma and diabetes. She also specializes in dry eye therapy and NO NEEDLES NO STITCH NO PATCH CATARACT surgery.
