Possible Side Effects and Complications of LASIK

Undercorrection - can usually be taken care of with an enhancement procedure of LASIK

Infection - This possibility exists with any surgical procedure, but we guard against this with our safety precautions and medications.

Overcorrection - Going from nearsightedness to farsightedness which may require continued use of glasses or contact lenses.

Complications, while rare, will be discussed in greater detail at the time of your eye examination.
