THOMAS P. WOOD, M.D.

Thomas P. Wood, M.D. attended the University of Texas in Austin, Texas, and completed his medical training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. After completing his internship at St. Paul Hospital in Dallas, Texas, Dr. Wood completed his ophthalmology residency program at Parkland Memorial Hospital. Before going into private practice, Dr. Wood was in the U.S. Navy.

Dr. Wood is board certified and licensed in Texas. He has staff privileges at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas and Parkland Memorial Hospital. He is a member of the American Board of Ophthalmology, Dallas Academy of Ophthalmology, Texas Ophthalmological Association, and the Texas Medical Association.

Dr. Wood specializes in comprehensive eye exams for the entire family. He treats all disease of the eye including glaucoma and diabetes. Dr. Wood fits soft and hard contact lenses including toric lenses for correction of astigmatism.
